Weird Watches: LEGOS!

October 7th, 2011 | 7 Comments

So, we believe most of us can say that when we were children, we LOVED LEGOs! (Sorry, but if you didn’t, then you missed out.) And all that playing has paid off.  Studies show that kids who play with LEGOs have higher agility and better problem solving skills. That’s why I can beat you at Sudoku with my right hand while I’m texting relationship advice to my sister with my left hand.

Well, now LEGO has an awesome line of watches for kids and adults! Of course, these can’t compare to the classy appeal of Orient watches. But at under $30, we think they have their place…like kid’s birthday parties and on the wrists of 30-year-old LEGO groupies.

Don’t get us wrong, we would’ve loved to have had one of those growing up. They are brick style watches to which you can add your own different colored links and create your own color patterns.

Do you want more flare with your LEGO watch?  LEGO also features Star Wars themed watches.

And we just had to include this other LEGO time-keeping device: the LEGO brick calender!  How nifty – you rebuild it every month.

Seems like after all these years, LEGO is still getting it right.

I loved lego as a kid and I still love to make stuff with them. Lego is one of those toys that never go out of style. This watch is cool too.

Heh, I dig the band. Glad it’s not actual legos. You’d really jack up your wrist!
