The Great Bambino: Orient’s 5-Star Executive

July 13th, 2012 Posted in Orient Watch Reviews | 4 Comments

If you’ve been to Orient Watch USA recently, then you’ll recognize today’s featured executive watch. It’s the Bambino, or the Great Bambino as you may begin to refer to it after you check out all its great traits.

Possibly the greatest thing about the Orient Bambino is that it’s a true reflection of the brand. It calls to mind Orient’s classic, wearable looks that age well. In fact, these classic timepieces never go out of style. Unlike the big, bold, and colorful watch styles and current trends, the quiet elegance of Orient’s Bambino remains the perfect go-to watch for business, dress, or casual wear.

But, really, what’s good about this watch?

Here’s the rundown:

  • Orient’s in-house mechanical movement with date complication
  • Approximately 40-hour power reserve
  • 50m water resistance
  • Genuine leather band
  • Stainless steel case
  • Domed crystal glass

Additionally, the Bambino offers an easy-to-read dial, a 1-year international guarantee, and a price tag that may just fit your bill.

And if white is too crisp and clean for your style, Bambino is available in other colors as well. Check them all out at Orient Watch USA.

So what do people really think about the Orient Bambino? Well…

“My Orient Bambino has either has the same movement as my Tag Heuer Grand Carrera or Orient just improved their movement because I don’t see much of a difference between the two. It’s very comparable to a Swiss movement.”

“The clean and classy look is what got me to purchase this watch without any hesitation. It has been treating me well as it provides me with accurate time. I couldn’t be more satisfied.”

“Oh I know you’ve all heard of it. The Great Bambino. Best of the best. The ultimate legend is now on my wrist.”

It’s just a damn good watch, simple as that!

This watch would have to come about as close to perfection for a classic dress watch as you could come.

Classic chiselled batons on the dial and pointed silver hands contrast the clean white dial.

Pure elegance with a 40 hour power reserve!.

Classy and discreet, always in style. Perfect watch for time travellers. Whether your destination is 1932 or 2032, no-one will know you are out-of-time! Wear a certain large plastic shock resistant watch back to 1928, and the G-men (heh!) will be after you…

I’ve just received my Bambino (silver with white dial). I have two other Orient automatics, and if they are anything to go by, I’m sure I won’t have any problems with regard to reliability and accuracy.

I’ve looked at many pictures and watched many video clips online, showing the watch from every possible angle, but none of them did it proper justice. This is an awesome watch – I couldn’t be happier.
