This is a pretty cool ORIENT cfdac004w watch, otherwise known as the “tank” model. This is a pretty rare Orient watch and it reminds me a lot of a Frank Muller. The Frank Muller watch retails for about $20K while the Orient $200.

This watch is water resistant 50m (up to 50 meters in depth), which makes it suitable for water related work and fishing.

The Tank watch is a fully-automatic (self-winding) mechanical watch and is equipped with a Power Reserve Indicator, which shows the remaining power in unit of hours when the watch is left idle or stationery.

Watches with such a feature usually sell for a lot more than $200, like this Bell & Ross for over $3,000.

Even though this “Tank” Model is pretty hard to find nowadays, there are lots of other Orient Watches with power reserve indicators at prices that make sense.

I think it’s most comparable to the classic Cartier watches…more so than the Francks. Tank have been good sellers for decades, good design choice! :)

I just purchased this model and it is even more beautiful and elegant than the picture. It is very much like the famous Cartier tank style watch, but I actually think it is better designed. It rests very comfortably on my wrist and is a joy to wear.
