Sirs,

Just learned of Orient watches and will keep an eye -- love your design and will pick one soon. D you have a model named "The Oient Expess"? If not you need one - that is a great name for what appears to be a great watch -- very mysterious. Take the Orient Express for a ride!

Regards,
Thomas

I love this watch. I'm wearing it now. The crystal is not just sapphire but anti-reflective, like my IWC Aquatimer. Great value. The world-time feature is much better and easier to read than my Rolex GMT Master II. Get it any any price!

Wow. What a great looking watch. I really like the contrasting white sub dials on the darker face. I also appreciate the description of the world time function!

Would love to win this watch. I'm always looking for the best watch and have not found it yet. Maybe now I have the opportunity.

I really like this watch because of the lighter sub dials and bezel. If it was all black, the watch would be too busy and hard to read. The offseting colors make it much more catchy and useful.

I was sick for a month after I lost my orange faced Orient dive watch back in the early '70's skiing. I've never been into bling, and that watch was a birthday gift after getting NAUI certified. Functionality is much more important to me. I can't wait to get my blue Mako in the mail, and could care less if anyone else notices I have it on...but I know they will !

The comments presented are certainly warranted.
The deals on the site are not as good as they used to be.

I don't even hop on the fence to even consider a purchase unless there is something thrown in because it just doesn't seem worth it at the lower discount rates.

However, I think it's unfair to blame Orient. All watches, in my opinion, are sold at an inflated price and it's up you to create a perceived value deemed appropriate.

I personally think that some watches in the Orient line are well within range, others seem a bit too expensive. It really depends on the watch.

I purchased a World Time watch from another Japanese company before I discovered Orient. I like the watch, but I like this one far better.

Specifically, this is what I like better compared to mine: The hour markers, the size of the numbers in relation to the letters, the radii of the sub-dials, using "GMT" instead of "London," and the automatically rotating inner bezel.

I prefer the aesthetics of the solid color Orients over mine. The Orients are incredible. The white dial reminds me of a nautical chart, and the black dial reminds me of the celestial sphere.

The Orients kick my solar powered watch's buttocks, so it's going to be someone's X-mas present.

Live and learn.
