Count me in for kanji day watches! I much prefer that to spanish days that are common, even if it is the abbreviated version.

Thanks for the info, Frank. My daughter is studying Japanese, so I got her a domestic market Eco-Drive with the days in kanji. Now my son “must” have the kanji day on a watch. He is drooling over the Orient Kingmaster WZ0361EM (for X-mas). So am I. All the domestic market watches I’ve found so far use abbreviated kanji. “Getsu” for “Mon,” instead of the full “Getsuyoubi” for “Monday.” I’ve seen a vintage Orient swimmer that had the full day of the week in kanji. Talk about tasty! I’ll keep looking.

BaiBai, all Orients sold outside of Japan support day calendars in English/Spanish. I seriously doubt you’ll find any of these to support Kanji. Would be cool. If you want that , I think you’ll need to inquiry about Japan domestic market Orients (Orient Stars, Royal Orients and the like).

I’ve been looking for an easy to read Orient watch with an optional English/Kanji full day of the week. This design would be perfect for it. It would be helpful to list what other language options are available on the DOD offerings.

I love Orients and have bought 4 so far, one was ordered directly from Japan, an Orient Star Rose Gold.

Orient watches are without a doubt some of the finest watches available for the price. I recently purchased my first Orient and I love it. I just hope the Orient deal of the day starts to offer more higher end watches at a deeper discount. Give me a better deal! I haven’t even been tempted for weeks! Give me an Orient Star or at least something decent for 50% or higher. Otherwise it’s goodbye! I can order Orients from Blue Dial or other sites for better prices. And don’t offer me a cheap plastic winder! PS I love you! Step it up.
