The general theme of this collection is casual wear. You will notice that every aspect of this watch was made to provide you with comfort such as the bold letters, the genuine leather band, and the magnifying lens. This type of watch is the kind that you can wear when going out for a nice walk or having a dinner with your family; it fits in almost every casual environment.

MSRP: $145| Today’s price: $101.50 | Comments

Everything about the dial (face of the watch) stands out. For those of you who are far-sighted, you will greatly appreciate the magnifying lens located at the 6 o’clock position. This feature reduces eyestrain when seeing the date and day of the month.

Another feature that eliminates inconveniences is the luminescent hands and the hour indicators. The luminescent aspect allows you to see the specific time during the night without any trouble. If you like this watch, you may also like the CFPAA002W watch.

For this automatic watch, the case comes in a very large rectangular shape. This allows for the bold numerals to stand out to the owner. An automatic watch has no batteries within the watch. It runs on the spring of the watch and stores power as it is being worn. If you view the side of the watch, you will also see the crystal dome of the case and the Orient logo engraved on the crown.

MSRP: $145| Today’s price: $101.50 | Comments

To adjust the date and the day, you must rotate the crown (time-setting knob) located at the 3 o’clock position. You will notice that there are two different levels to the crown. The 1st level corresponds to the date while the 2nd level corresponds to the time hands and the day of the week. Notice how the crown comes with shoulders for added protection.

Hi Eric we try to price our watches aggressively. If you find a cheaper price (not including auction sites such as eBay) than our deal of the day please e-mail it to Joey@orientwatchusa.com.

This weekend we will be rolling out some new watches that very few people in the US have seen. Be sure to check in :).

I would really love to see the CFD0F004W if at all possible.

I already have a few ORIENT watches. Thanks for the this site offers and can’t wait for any new models to appear on this site. Great brand, selection. Keep it up, thanks.

The last Orient watch I bought here (CFM0001B) was a DOD for a whooping 67% off MSRP!! That is the kind of deal that gets me going!

If you can bring the CFT0004B for a similar aggressive discount (Well over 55%) rest assured you’ll be getting an order.

Is the day of the week a quick set or do you have to advance the hour hands by 24 hours?
Like the watches and prices you offer everyday.

I am relatively new to Orient watches but have bought 7 since my first purchase in April of this year- high end, low end and even a few discontinued models. I am hooked on Orient. Two of the 7 purchases have been on the DOD. Love all of them for different reasons and all get compliments from others! I even have my wife started with her first Orient!

I will second the comments from others that we would love to see more of the high end watches on the DOD and new items. Joey – please get Orient to bring the Orient Star and Royal Orient Japanese models to the US. Trust me there is a market for them !!! Love the DODs– please keep them coming ! Thanks

I love the rose gold on this watch. How does your gold plating hold up over time? Will it wear off or is it guaranteed in any way?

  10. By Eric West on Aug 30, 2009

Orient watches are without a doubt some of the finest watches available for the price. I recently purchased my first Orient and I love it. I just hope the Orient deal of the day starts to offer more higher end watches at a deeper discount. Give me a better deal! I haven’t even been tempted for weeks! Give me an Orient Star or at least something decent for 50% or higher. Otherwise it’s goodbye! I can order Orients from Blue Dial or other sites for better prices. And don’t offer me a cheap plastic winder! PS I love you! Step it up.

Can’t wait to see what they’re rolling out this week.

I love Orients and have bought 4 so far, one was ordered directly from Japan, an Orient Star Rose Gold.

I’ve been looking for an easy to read Orient watch with an optional English/Kanji full day of the week. This design would be perfect for it. It would be helpful to list what other language options are available on the DOD offerings.

  13. By Frank In Miami on Aug 30, 2009

BaiBai, all Orients sold outside of Japan support day calendars in English/Spanish. I seriously doubt you’ll find any of these to support Kanji. Would be cool. If you want that , I think you’ll need to inquiry about Japan domestic market Orients (Orient Stars, Royal Orients and the like).

  14. By BaiBai on Aug 30, 2009

Thanks for the info, Frank. My daughter is studying Japanese, so I got her a domestic market Eco-Drive with the days in kanji. Now my son “must” have the kanji day on a watch. He is drooling over the Orient Kingmaster WZ0361EM (for X-mas). So am I. All the domestic market watches I’ve found so far use abbreviated kanji. “Getsu” for “Mon,” instead of the full “Getsuyoubi” for “Monday.” I’ve seen a vintage Orient swimmer that had the full day of the week in kanji. Talk about tasty! I’ll keep looking.

  15. By Todd on Aug 30, 2009

Count me in for kanji day watches! I much prefer that to spanish days that are common, even if it is the abbreviated version.
