Everything about the dial (face of the watch) stands out. For those of you who are far-sighted, you will greatly appreciate the magnifying lens located at the 6 o’clock position. This feature reduces eyestrain when seeing the date and day of the month.

Another feature that eliminates inconveniences is the luminescent hands and
the hour indicators. The luminescent aspect allows you to see the specific time
during the night without any trouble.

If you view the side of the watch, you will also see the crystal dome of the
case and the Orient logo engraved on the crown.

To adjust the date and the day, you must rotate the crown (time-setting knob) located at the 3 o’clock position. You will notice that there are two different levels to the crown. The 1st level corresponds to the date while the 2nd level corresponds to the time hands and the day of the week. Notice how the crown comes with shoulders for added protection.

The magnifier is an unusual shape and at an odd position.
By Arnie on Jul 10, 2009
Nice watch, the size is perfect not too big and not to small, I also like the crown guard feature. It is just a little bit thick
or I am judt used to my other thin watch. For the price it is hard to beat. All in all a great watch. Orient rocks in the USA…

The product description for the last few watches have listed them as 23 jewel watches. They’ve all been 21 jewel watches. Can you check your descriptions?
I really like watching the Deal of the Day on the OrientWatchSite. I haven’t bitten yet, but one of these days, there will be one I just can’t refuse.

nice casual watch perfect for any occasion.
By Todd on Jul 10, 2009
This watch is a great example of what I really like about Orient…it could be a basic, boring watch, but by putting the date at 6 instead of 3 and adding a unique magnifier, it stands out. Well done.
By Vladimir on Jul 10, 2009
This watch does not seem to be as unique as majority of ORIENT watches I used to see. It is too plain with an odd glass window.
By RobG on Jul 10, 2009
I like it…but markers instead of numbers would give it an extra edge.
Thumbs-up on the non-traditional magnifier and the date location.
By Tony on Jul 10, 2009
I just bought the red from the other day but this is another really nice watch. I’m really digging the magnifier. so unique…

I don’t usually like square watches, but this looks nice.
By Wilson C on Jul 14, 2009
This watch is a lot better than ORIENT CETAC002B Automatic Watch.
With the magnifying lens and luminescent hands and the hour make this casual watch a unique watch I like to own.
By Lori G on Sep 17, 2009
The watches are beautiful. Wonderfully crafted.

Beautiful, very beautiful moderate.
By Doc on Sep 17, 2009
Kind of irks me when the diameter of a rectangular (or square) watch is given. I’d probably buy this watch if I knew what size it was.

I am seeing a lot of spam comments in here lately. Is anyone paying attention to the potential problem these pose in your site?
By Jarn on Sep 17, 2009
I wonder if the second hand ticks between seconds or slowly glides through.
By Jon on Sep 17, 2009
A nice simple watch with clean lines. Certainly a masculine look without being too fussy, but I still cant decide whether the magnifying lens adds or detracts from the piece.
By stu metrick on Sep 17, 2009
the luxury and look of the watches i used to stare at on my fathers wrist, the beauty and eligance of them .. im 50 years old and i can still see his wrist with those beautiful wathes

Joey -
Case diameter states 37mm, but it is a rectangulr watch – what are the side dimensions. Strap is 24 mm wide – so I take it one side is more than 24, what about the other side of the rectangle?
Really interested – bought another orient for my Dad earliee and he loves it and I like the look on his wrist – looking for one – let me know.

I just can’t afford one right now due to cut backs at work, but just a note to tell you that your watch is beautiful.I work in the health field as a cna where a second hand is a must. again it is beautiful. Thank you for letting me comment on your product Sincerely. Kathy Cross

Great looking watch, looking to add a leather strap Orient to my collection. I already have a Blue Mako and a Multi-Face and Orient watches are top-notch quality watches.

I dig it! I have been a round dial guy up til now but this watch is making me think otherwise.
By L Nguyen on Sep 18, 2009
I was shopping around for a square leather strap time piece and ran across into this one. Have not heard of Orient, but asked my folks about it. They say Orient is a good watch maker. I just bought it instead of a $200 Emporio Armani quartz one, because this looks just as good in pictures so far, cheap price, and it’s an automatic… Looking forward to it in the mail…
