The CEV09002W watch is classic timepiece is a watch that should truly be treasured. This model follows the motif of classic looks throughout the history of mechanical watches. There are, however, a few minor changes that add to its traditional theme. This may be the perfect gift for your father or for yourself if you enjoy traditional men’s watches.

Although there are many watches that follow the same design, this watch’s features are truly exceptional. If you look closely at the surface of the dial, you will notice the checkered patterns that give the dial extra texture. Also, there is the day indicator so that you are able to view the day of the week at the 6 o’clock position, with the date on the 3 o’clock position.

There are two different levels to the crown (time-setting knob). The first level adjusts the date indicator located on the 3 o’ clock position. The second level adjusts both the time hands and the date of the week. To change the day on the watch, you have to first rotate the hour hand forward in time until you notice the change of the day i.e. from Monday to Tuesday.

Another feature for this watch is its luminescent hands. This allows the owner to enjoy the watch during the night. Also, the watch case is water-resistant up to 50 meters and you’ll also notice that the crown comes with the official Orient logo engraving.

This series of watches comes with a genuine leather band that has a white stitching on the edge.


 






The case also has the official Orient logo engraved and is made of stainless steel, with a thickness of 11 mm, which is not to “show offy” and perfect for dad.


 






The clasp is a buckle that also has the Orient logo engraved on it, again, very classic.

    I got this watch as a gift and it quickly became my go to piece. Keeps amazing time, and the full day window at 6 o’clock is great to have. Very comfortable band, while the crown isn’t screw down, it hasn’t been a problem, and this price is a STEAL. If I didn’t already have one…

    got the DOD silver face with tan strap. Great watch for the $$, I’m testing how living with an automatic is.

    The only thing I can criticize is that the winder makes kinda a springy/rattle noise when the watch is shook or I’m moving my arm around.

    I know it’s a basic automatic so I am not suprised by this. But I still wonder if this is expected from this model of watch/movement.
