I really like the inspired watches. My favorite is the retro camera watch. The colors on this one are just too brash for me to imagine wearing, but I can respect the attention to detail. The band looks really comfortable.

new to this watch brand but like what i see.going to have to get me one..

Ahhh! I just bought yesterdays DOD. I would really like to pick this one up too. You guys are killing me! keep up the good work – cool watches and pretty good discounts. If you guys put one of the models with the carbon fiber dial on here my wife is going to be SO mad.
By RobG on Jul 3, 2009
The Rally enthusiast will appreciate the small details of this watch. The “treaded” strap is comfortable to wear and the open windows that expose the movement gears on the face are truly something a “gearhead” can appreciate.

I really like this watch’s design. I just wish I was a rally car fan. It seems wrong to wear this when I know nothing about the sport or the guy whose name is on it.
By John Sapotichne on Jul 3, 2009
I have heard this watch could become highly collectible considering the demise of the relationship between Marcus Gronholm and Orient. Im told Orient will not speak of Gronholm in any regard which seems to be backed up by this DOD where I do not see a mention of his name.

This is a great watch and a recommended buy.. Be in quick..

This is my second Orient, and just like all their other models, this Orient looks far more expensive than it really is. The dial looks very sporty, although I would’ve liked to have a RDM on the dial. Since this is a LE model, it makes it more attractive. I like how this watch comes with a special box and pillow, and the caseback is signed. Orient should come out with more LE models! I wonder which driver they will form a relationship with next?

Beautiful, just beautiful!
By Douglas on Jul 3, 2009
Good looking limited edition. I’m intrigued by Sapotichne’s conspiracy theory.
By Paxman on Jul 3, 2009
I couldn’t resist. Just too cool a watch.

I am in awe over these watches and their affordability. I just bought the deal of the day a new ORIENT CDB04001D Automatic Watch. What a beautiful time piece. In the past I have purchased numerous Seiko’s and Citizen’s. I just bought a new Citizens Eco on EBay last night and wish I had know about Orient instead. If I could return the Citizens and buy two of the CDB04001D’s I would. Oh well. The next best thing I can do is forward a link to the Orient deal of the day to all of my friends and let them enjoy. I will defiantly be buying more Orient watches. Thank you-Orient. Sgt. Briggs Savignac U.S.M.C. Semper Fi!

There are many great looking Orient watches on my wish list right now especially this Limited Edition Orient model #CDB04001D.
Look at the great combination of this watch. The Design. The Color. Orient Movement. It has everything I want.
My budget is tight right now but if my economic situation will improve in the next short years, I will surely buy Orient watches. They have great design, great price, great customer service and excellent Orient Automatic Movements.
I will surely recommend Orient watches to my friends, relatives and everybody out there.

A well designed and beautifully crafted watch for a bargain price. Stylish and elegant, it still retains the quirkiness which is the signature of Orient Watches. You won’t find a better limited edition watch, even if you pay 2 times the price.
Here is my review on my website:

This is a really sharp looking watch, but I don’t know Marcus Grunholm from Adam. I’ll bet the watches would have sold out immediately if they had NASCAR’s Dale Earnhardt name by the number ‘3′.
By Matt on Sep 4, 2009
David, seeing how this watch is not being sold at Wal-Mart…I’ll take that bet.
I don’t know who Marcus Grunholm is either, and I bet most people don’t but that makes him a fairly neutral name to put on a watch. If you put Earnhardt’s name on the watch, you would get one segment of the population: his fans. No fans of other drivers would buy it, and nobody not a fan of nascar would buy it. Why shoot yourself in the foot like that? If they had a whole series with all the drivers’ names, that might be something. But even here in North Carolina, a Dale Earnhardt watch would not sell out.

I have a Gronholm LE watch. I love it.
By Paul V. on Sep 4, 2009
Yesterday I received my second Orient, a Yellow Mako (my first is a CET05001W). Both watches are absolutely stunning. The photos on orientalwatchusa.com don’t even to begin to illustrate just how great these look in real life. You (Orient Watch) owe it to yourself to update the images on your website to better depict the true beauty of your products. In the meantime, anyone considering a purchase would be well advised to do a google image search to see what Orients really look like.

It is a great piece of history by ORIENT. I picked one of these before.

Whatever happened to the bargains…

Great price for a collectible. Although not my cup of tea.
By Scott in CT on Sep 4, 2009
Wow, great watch!
By Frank In Miami on Sep 4, 2009
Hey guys, how about stop rehashing the same watch DOD merchandise that has paraded here in the last 3 months or so? Whatever happened with asking us what other Orient models we would like to see featured as DODs? You guys have really nice watches and it is getting tiresome to see the same pieces that where offered here (and at a much lower price by the way) weeks and months ago and more expensive to boot.
Is the Orient DOD in auto-pilot mode or something? Is anyone at the helm anymore? Helloooooo???????
Quite frankly, its getting BORING around here. Before, checking out the DOD was a daily thing to look forward to, not anymore. Same old merchandise and lousy 30% discounts… It ain’t working guys.
I love you all and I love Orient, but the DOD, as it stands today, is not even the shadow of its former self.
By Matthew on Sep 4, 2009
This is a very nice watch. However, I have to agree with my esteemed colleague Frank in Miami! Show us something new!!!
By George on Sep 11, 2009
Wow this watch is beautiful. I like the colors, they are the colors of the UCs. I would love to have this watch to show off to my colleagues and support Orient by simply advertising this great product.
By aliotsy on Oct 23, 2009
That’s a gorgeous timepiece.

Cool watch and nice logo!
By ERIC K on Oct 24, 2009
Nice looking watch, I know the quality will be there because I own 3 Orient watches and the quality and accuracy are there, One of my favorites is the Airplane in which I have in the blue dial.
By Donald on Jan 14, 2010
Very very cool design!
