I really like the looks of this watch and the sliderule function. it reminds me a lot of the CFT00004B – Semi-Skeleton Sliderule, only it has the day/date which to me is a must. Personally, I am a fan of the CEM5Z008B in black.

I agree, that it’s not as much a military watch as an aviator’s watch, the sliderule makes it a bit of a descendant of the B-ling Navitimer, the same way that any diver owes it’s lineage back to the R-lex Submariner.

The CEM5Z009D doesn’t strike me as a military watch, it’s more of an engineers watch (with great, novel symmetry, very handsome).

Now, design/pump out a Flieger hommage and I’ll be first in line to buy that military model.
