Hi, I just thought you'd like to know that my watch still meets my expectations of the ideal mechanical watch. Plus it looks great on my wrist. Thanks.

I have owned the blue Mako for almost two months now and have to say it is one of the nicest watches for the money. The dial has to be seen to believed. No pics seem do it justice. At its price it is no wonder that this watch is a bestseller. The quality and finish cannot be found in any other watch in this price range.

Accuracy has settled down to a consistent +8 sec. a day. Not bad at all. I could have paid thousands more to get worse.

I would love to see a version with a sapphire crystal available, as I'm sure many others would too. Overall, a very good value and a fine looking timepiece.

I'm a fan of the OrientStar series, though they've always been out of my price range... The CET05001D or CEM65002D are more my style (or anything blue for that matter). Still deciding on which I'd like to buy though -- so many choices!
