Luna Crystal

October 20th, 2011 | 3 Comments

Though not yet an actual watch, Luna Crystal is a neat concept. The Luna Crystal is a futuristic take on the watch.

There is no band, dial, or bezel.  Just a bangle.

Created by designer John Pszeniczny, this watch has two contact points to touch in order for the time to appear in a somewhat magical, fantastical fashion within the bangle.

Do you think the concept will ever make it to the Watchmaker’s table?  Although, it seems like Luna Crystal would require the expertise of an astrophysicist and not a watchmaker.

This is definitely a futuristic watch. I think this could be the new trend of 2012. If affordable, I think this would be a great gift and great for women of all ages.

It’s the next logical step in both fashion and evolution of the watch. As we approach year 2012, I expected tobsee the future in every part of my life as predicted when I was only a kid in the early 60′s. It seem that the only major change of fuuristic development has been what you can do with the Internet, and that has been slow to and predictable in itself.
