Patek Philippe & Co. is a Swiss luxury watch brand founded in 1851. They, like many great watch brands, are located in Geneva. Patek Philippe designs and manufactures some of the most complicated mechanical watches ever made.

Polish watchmaker Antoni Patek started making pocket watches  in 1839 and in 1845 he joined with the French watchmaker Adrien Philippe. Philippe was the inventor of the keyless winding mechanism, a feature added to their watches. Together they founded Patek Philippe & Co in 1851.

Patek Philippe made the first wristwatch in 1868. They also pioneered the perpetual calendar, chronograph, and the minute repeater. Their legacy is world renowned and their clientele include celebrities and heads of state.
