Pimpin' Ain't Easy

The Funky Watch segment features funky, unique, and sometimes weird watches on the market.

Today, we’re gonna take it back to Tokyo Flash, who we covered in one of our first Funky Watch blogs.

Tokyo Flash carries the most extraordinarily futuristic/space-age/robotic looking watches on the market. They are well known for their use of LED lights and imaginative ways of using a fusion of artistic methods and post modern stylings.

Today we are covering two watches, the ‘1000100101’ and the ‘Pimpin ain’t easy’.

The 1000100101 has a carbon fiber strap with day/date/month features and was literally copied off of a moon base commander’s watch from a 1960’s science fiction film.

The Pimp features a block grid which includes the hour, minutes, and seconds.  This watch actually made an appearance in the movie “The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift.”  It has a stainless steel case and band.

These watches are definitely waaaaay ahead of their time :)

1000100101 is a great looking watch, but I can’t read it well :D.

These are funky. I love them. They are awesome. I might check them out sometime. (MIGHT) The one on top looks a lot better in the image’s angle…

I would totally love to wear 100100101. Even if I can’t read it.
