Just wanted to share my admiration for an extremely expensive new Omega, the DeVille Hour Vision. I just watched the movie Up in the Air, in which Clooney wears this watch throughout. A beautiful vintage-looking silver dial on a black croc strap, 41 mm case (which I think is hitting the modern sweet spot in terms of size). Wow! I realize one could acquire a dozen or more nice Orients for the price, but still! I guess the new vintage series from Orient would be an interesting comparison... Here is a pic of the Hour Vision from Omega's website:

I really think this one is special in terms of design. What do you think?

Ike

All Omega's are worthy Grail watches, that one isn't at the top of my list but you will never hear me complain about Omega's! :msn_bigsmile:

So ... which Omegas are at the top of your list? I saw 2 Blue Bonds at a pool party over the weekend, and they looked sweet!

I am very partial to the previous generation of the seamaster aqua terra, don't care for the new model with the 60 minute ring on the dial...

I think I wold choose one of the previous generation aqua terra's over the current hour vision line too. If you are partial to that new annual calendar feature it is also available in the modern aqua terra line.

The only thing Omega is offering right now that I like in classic dress watches is the deville prestige series...

thats just my 2c though, what do I know! :msn_wink:

I agree the last generation Seamaster AT's were very nice. And the current DeVille Prestige line cool as well - the dials are reminiscent of the classic pie pan dials like the one on my '50s Connie.
