The Orient 2ER00003B is a diver watch with 21 jewels in the most sensitive areas of the watch’s mechanics. The jewels reduce the friction in the movement of the watch, allowing for more accurate time.

The 2ER00003B is powered through the spring of the watch which powers itself when worn. The watch will use this remaining power once it remains still.

The dial has many stand-out features, such as the bezel (outer ring of the watch) with a coined edge for added texture and style. The bezel is uni-directional, which means that it rotates in one direction. The rotating bezel allows the owner to view how much time has passed by adjusting the indicator to the minute hand.

The 3 o’clock position has a magnifying glass that overlooks the date indicator. Its luminescent hands which allow the time to be viewed during the evening or underwater.

The crown has two different levels to it, one that adjusts the date and one that adjusts the time with just a rotation of the crown.

The crown has shoulders for added protection from physical damage.

And the water resistance of 100 meters allows your watch to weather swims, snorkeling and scuba diving. However, it is not suited for saturation diving.

Beauty of a watch. Why is it only 100M, though? That design with a screw-down crown should rate 200.

MAN! I finally decided on 4 other non-Diver Orient watches, deeming the diver no longer my style…….and low and behold I must have missed this piece because I’ve been back and forth on whether or not to scrap my final decision in lieu of this Diver. Props to you, Orient for most likely monopolizing the top 5 spots on my list!
