I also recently found out about Orient watches and bought the CFM00001b and the quality is through the roof. Solid and substancial thats for sure and only +7 secs. out of the box. Incredible deal. Swiss watches are great and have a great history but Japanese movements (especially Orient) have a much broader consumer spectrum, offer incredible quality and have a history as well. Seriously I was about to purchase an Omega for ten times the price and am so glad I didnt. I will definately buy many more watches from Orient with the CFA05001b GMT being next for me. Glad to see they made it to the U.S. Congrats Orient and Cheers!

I own the Orient GMT in black, CFE04001B. It is absolutely my favorite watch. The best feature about it is the domed crystal. Sometimes when I am driving and I look at my watch, flat crystals will beam me in the eye with a sharp ray of the sun. OW! The domed crystal on the GMT takes care of that. It won't beam me in the eye.

I took my GMT off the stainless steel band it came with and I put it on a thick Italian rubber diver's strap. The watch is lighter and more comfortable on the wrist this way.

As far as affordability, the Orient GMT wins hands down. Where else can you find an automatic GMT for the price mentioned above? You would have to spend at least 500 for anything else. Orient is definitely the way to go!

RobG, I highly recommend the Orient World Time CFA05001B. Fantastic watch, GMT plus you can keep track at a glance of the time in 26 cities around the world.
